The importance of Water

Hey everyone, it's me Tiffany, with yet again another blog. Today my topic is over why water is so important and how often we waste it. In the video it stated that only three percent of water on the planet is fresh, but only a third of that humans have access to. The water stopped being freshwater when fish and other species came about. We use water so much every day for showers, to drink, for our vehicles, etc. There are so many things that we use it for. It is something that we definitely take full advantage of because it is always there. Every summer my family would empty our pool water and clean the pool and then refill it. That is a lot of water to go through every summer and our water bill showed for it too. Water is just something that we need to pay more attention to how we use it, because if it were ever to run out, we would all become very sick or even die.

I was challenged once, and now i'm passing the challenge on to everyone who reads this blog. For one week write down in a journal every time you used water, what it was for, how much did you use, and how much of it was wasted each time. You will find that you use a lot of water in one week, but yet most of the water is wasted.

So take the challenge and see how it puts your mind into perspective. It definitely put mine into perspective.
